Country Tier List

When fighting a non-played nation (NPN), the NPN is assigned a certain amount of points. While there is randomness attached to these points, it still has a basis in what a country would realistically have. The United States would after all be able to form a more effective defence than San Marino. As a key objective of Novos Mundos is transparency in all matters, the guidelines for each tier and which countries belong in each tier are listed.

Tier A

Tier A countries are the most powerful countries in the world, and often very large. Invading and conquering them will take a lot of time and be incredibly difficult.

  • Between 700 and 800 points.
  • All available technology, equal to played entities.

Tier B

Tier B countries are highly developed countries, but often much smaller than tier A countries. They have less points but equivalent technology to represent their developmental status.

  • Between 450 and 550 points.
  • All available technology, equal to played entities.

Tier C

Tier C countries are very large but technologically and infrastructure wise less developed than tier A or B countries. This is represented by higher points but less technology available.

  • Between 700 and 800 points.
  • Technology restricted to what the country possesses in real-life.

Tier D

Tier D countries are of a normal size and do not have the same level of tier a and b counttries. As a result their points are lower as is the available technology.

  • Between 300 and 500 points.
  • Technology restricted to what the country possesses in real-life.

Tier E

Tier E countries are smaller than tier D countries but still not at the small country level. They have lower points and the same technology restriction.

  • Between 100 and 300 points.
  • Technology restricted to what the country possesses in real-life.

Tier F

Tier F countries are a special category intended for very small countries. It includes island countries below 1,000,000 citizens and continental countries below 500,000 citizens. Both points and technology are restricted to represen the lack of people and access to technological innovation.

  • Between 30 and 50 points.
  • Technology restricted to what the country possesses in real-life.
